Streptococcus_pneumoniae_R6x_cps99_4038_genome_sequencing_and_assembly

R6x cps99-4038 obtained the cps locus from Streptococcus pneumoniae 99-4038 via transformation which was conducted using genomic DNA from S. pneumoniae 99-4038 and the competence stimulating peptide. R6x cps99-4038 carried a cps locus of S. pneumoniae 99-4038 and it was expected to express serotype 3 capsules. We used Oxford Nanopore Rapid Barcoding Sequencing Kit (SQK-RBK004) to sequence the sample on the MinION platform. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
