Retinal detachment as a late complication of posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens implantation. A case report

In this case report study, we present a 39-year-old male with -15 diopters who developed a total retinal detachment in the right eye five years after posterior chamber phakic (PCP) intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. We provided the corrective surgical procedure which included scleral buckling, explantation of the PCP IOL plus lens exchange and pars plana vitrectomy assisted with purified triamcinolone.本病例报告研究中，我们报告一例屈光度数为-15屈光度的39岁男性患者：该患者在后房型有晶状体眼人工晶状体（posterior chamber phakic，PCP；intraocular lens，IOL）植入术后5年，右眼发生完全性视网膜脱离。我们为其实施了矫正手术，手术方案包括巩膜扣带术、取出PCP IOL联合晶状体置换术，以及辅以纯化曲安奈德的经睫状体平坦部玻璃体切割术（pars plana vitrectomy）。
