Post mortem dissection of septal pouch raw data from the examination of feline cardiac samples

<p>The data were obtained as part of the project entitled: The dissection of a septal pouch allowing to preserve the present thrombi and to evaluate the relationship between thrombus and endocardium in the context of the study on human ischemic brain stroke conducted on animal model - preliminary study, project number 2024/08/X/NZ4/00518 financed by National Science Centre. The project used cardiac samples obtained from cats. The hearts were weighed and measured and the intact atria were dissected using various dissection angle (from 30 to 150 degrees). Data set contains raw data acquired from post mortem dissection of feline hearts samples, evaluating the possibilities to obtain a septal pouch specimen together with left atrial inner material suitable for further examination.<br /></p>
