WMS NW Height Layers

资源简介:
‘Height layers are single or multi-colored tone gradations, which are preferably applied in small-scale maps for relief representation. The areas of a height range (areas between certain vertical lines) are provided with a hue. The course of the shades takes place according to different principles" (cf. © Lexikon der Geosciences, as of 27.02.2019). A grayscale representation is depicted according to the principle of ‘the higher, the darker’. In multi-colored representation, grass for lowland and brown is used for mountain ranges with corresponding gradations. The height layers are derived from the Digital Terrain Model 50 (DGM50), resulting in a ground resolution of 50 m x 50 m. Status of the data used: 25.11.2021
