Trace-Gas Fluxes and Concentrations Measured at Canton Tower during Peripheral-Subsidence Episodes

This dataset contains 30-minute mean concentrations and aerodynamic-gradient fluxes of ozone (O3), nitrogen oxides (NOx = NO + NO2), total oxidant (Ox = O3 + NO2),and carbon monoxide (CO), together with auxiliary meteorological variables, all measured on the 600 m Canton Tower in Guangzhou, China. Observations span two peripheral-subsidence episodes linked to Northwest Pacific typhoons—Typhoon Chanthu in September 2021 and a composite of Typhoons Roke, Noru, Nanmadol, Muifa, and Hinnamnor in September 2022. Meteorological variables were derived from 10 Hz sonic-anemometer measurements.
