Minimum dataset supporting "Heat-safe accessibility to services and cooling refuges across Chinese cities"

This minimum dataset contains the derived and aggregated data required to reproduce the principal quantitative results, figures and supplementary analyses reported in the associated manuscript. It includes 36-city residential-unit metrics, figure source data, quality-control summaries, a data dictionary and file manifest. Aggregated Beijing and Shanghai routine-POI density rasters are included, whereas raw Amap POI and road-network records are excluded because their redistribution is restricted by the provider's terms. The accompanying Code Ocean capsule contains analysis and figure-generation scripts and documents the required input schemas. Version 1.0.1 restores VARIABLE_DEFINITIONS.md and RESULT_TABLE_MAP.md, which were inadvertently omitted from the initial public archive. The derived datasets and numerical results are unchanged.
