Automated coding for German party press releases, February-May 2024

Dataset showing the prevalence of 56 topics in the 2024 European Parliament election manifestos and press releases during the campaign phase from German political parties. Text has been scraped off the party and party group websites, and coded automatically using the manifestoberta model. Data follows the Comparative Manifesto Project (CMP) coding scheme. This dataset was compiled for the paper "Radical Right Challenger Party Strategy under Electoral Threat", currently under review.
