Digital Archive from Archaeological Investigations at Dunsfold Park Access Road, Surrey, 2020 and 2022

This collection comprises images, reports, site records, GIS, spreadsheet, and database data from archaeological investigations at the site of a new access road for the former Dunsfold Airfield, now partially redeveloped as Dunsfold Park industrial estate in Surrey. Oxford Archaeology was initially commissioned by Land Use Consultants to undertake an archaeological evaluation in February 2020. They were later commissioned by Dunsfold Airport Limited to undertake an archaeological excavation from June to July 2022. This site adds to the corpus of known late Iron Age to Roman transitionary period sites with rectangular enclosures in Surrey. Perhaps more significant is the cluster of animal cremations.
