The Economic Data Library (econdatalibrary.com) is a free, non-commercial academic data library giving students and researchers one clean, well-documented, citable place to find economic and financial statistics. It brings together data from international organizations (World Bank, IMF, UN, OECD, Eurostat, ECB, BIS, ILO, FAO), national statistical offices and central banks, and research datasets hosted with written permission, surfaced through a curated, continuously-growing searchable catalog. Every series ships with producer-first attribution: the original producer, its license, and a link back to the authoritative source. Access is via the website, a free REST API, an MCP server for AI assistants, and Python/R clients.
