This repository contains the data, scripts, and analytical workflow used to examine whether canopy condition and landscape connectivity, rather than patch area, determine the local cooling performance and network importance of urban mangrove patches in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The study identifies 18 mangrove patches larger than 1 hectare within the Makassar city boundary, characterizes their canopy density (NDVI) and local thermal performance (Landsat land surface temperature), and models landscape connectivity among patches using a circuit-theory framework (Circuitscape) with an NDVI-derived resistance surface. The repository includes Google Earth Engine scripts (JavaScript), Python and Julia analysis scripts, summary data tables, and administrative boundary shapefiles.
