WHOI Ice Tethered Profiler #23

ITP 23 was deployed on a 1.9 m thick ice floe in the Beaufort Sea as part of the Beaufort Gyre Observing System (BGOS) during the JOIS 2008 cruise on the CCGS Louis S. St. Laurent. On the same icefloe, a Naval Postgraduate School Arctic Ocean Flux Buoy (AOFB 17) was also installed. The ITP included a dissolved oxygen sensor and operated on a standard sampling schedule of 2 one-way profiles between 7 and 760 m depth each day.作为波弗特环流观测系统（Beaufort Gyre Observing System, BGOS）的组成部分，ITP 23号浮标随加拿大海岸警卫队“路易斯·圣罗兰号”（CCGS Louis S. St. Laurent）执行的JOIS 2008科考航次，被部署于波弗特海一处厚度1.9米的浮冰之上。在同一块浮冰上，还布设了美国海军研究生院的北极海洋通量浮标17号（Arctic Ocean Flux Buoy, AOFB 17）。该浮标搭载溶解氧传感器，每日按照标准采样规程，完成2次7米至760米水深的单程剖面观测。
