Collection of butterflies (Insecta: Lepidoptera) of the State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

This set contains data on the distribution of butterflies in western Ukraine and Poland. The assembly is the oldest known for the territory of western Ukraine. These data were obtained from the entomological collection of the State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The main part of the collection falls on the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, collected by entomologists: Nowicki M., Łomnicki J., Łomnicki M., Smulikowski Z., Stöckl A., Świątkiewicz M., Toll S., Jarosiewicz J., Dworżak L., Rizun V.B., Yanytskyi T.P.
This dataset is created and maintained by Dr. Kateryna Hushtan and Dr. Volodymyr Rizun from the State Museum of Natural History, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (SMNH NASU).
