Wagyu × Hereford crossbred cattle and purebred Hereford longissimus dorsi muscle multi-omic data (4, 12, 24 months)

This dataset was generated to dissect the molecular regulatory mechanisms underlying intramuscular fat (IMF) deposition in Wagyu × Hereford (WH) crossbred cattle. Samples were collected from the longissimus dorsi muscle of WH crossbred cattle and purebred Hereford (HH) cattle raised under standardized conditions. The dataset includes snRNA-seq, stRNA-seq, snATAC-seq, and Hi-C data from 4-month-old samples, as well as snRNA-seq data from 12- and 24-month-old samples. All data underwent rigorous quality control, sequence alignment, and normalization, with no systematic missing values. These data support research on the heterogeneity of fibro-adipogenic progenitors and key regulatory pathways, providing multi-omics foundational data for high-quality beef cattle crossbreeding and genomic selection programs.
