Map showing the changes in vegetation patch size in 75 Australian vegetation communities (as defined by the National Vegetation Information System 4.1). Underpinning data is a fragmentation measure reflecting the change in proportion of vegetation patches made up of less than 5000 hectares. Data analysis provided by Ayesha Tulloch of the Australian National University - using data from the the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Energy (National Vegetation Information System (NVIS) Major Vegetation Subgroups (MVS) 4.1).
