LBD(lateral organ boundaries domain)蛋白是一类植物所特有的转录因子,在调控植物生长发育、营养代谢以及逆境胁迫的响应等方面发挥重要作用。然而,在基因组水平上对毛果杨LBD基因家族的研究还未曾有过报道。本研究利用生物信息学方法,从毛果杨基因组中鉴定出57个LBD基因并预测其分子量和等电点,这些基因分布于毛果杨18条染色体和Scaffold65、Scaffold86上。该家族成员基因结构简单,内含子数目不超过2个。进化关系分析显示毛果杨LBD基因可分为ClassⅠ和ClassⅡ两大类,细分为Ⅰa、Ⅰb、Ⅰc、Ⅰd、Ⅰe、Ⅱa和Ⅱb等7个亚类。分析基因表达模式发现,该家族成员的表达具有一定时空特异性,并响应氮素胁迫处理。本研究为深入研究毛果杨LBD基因的功能奠定了基础。
LBD (lateral organ boundaries domain) proteins are a class of plant-specific transcription factors that play critical roles in regulating plant growth and development, nutrient metabolism, and responses to abiotic stresses. However, no studies on the LBD gene family of Populus trichocarpa have been reported at the genome-wide level. In this study, we identified 57 LBD genes from the Populus trichocarpa genome using bioinformatic approaches, and predicted their molecular weights and isoelectric points. These genes are distributed across 18 Populus trichocarpa chromosomes, as well as Scaffold65 and Scaffold86. The genes in this family have simple structures, with the number of introns not exceeding 2. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the Populus trichocarpa LBD genes can be divided into two major classes, Class Ⅰ and Class Ⅱ, which are further subdivided into seven subgroups: Ⅰa, Ⅰb, Ⅰc, Ⅰd, Ⅰe, Ⅱa and Ⅱb. Analysis of gene expression patterns showed that the expression of these family members exhibits certain spatio-temporal specificity and responds to nitrogen stress treatment. This study lays a foundation for further functional research on Populus trichocarpa LBD genes.
