Therapeutic efficacy of antimalarial drugs targeting DosRS signaling in Mycobacterium abscessus

Regulation of M. abscessus gene expression in WT or dosR mutant and treated with artemisinin WT or DosR deletion mutant were cultured in 16 mL of Dubos browth +10% ADS and 0.05% Tween 80 starting at an OD of 0.05 in a T-25 flask (in horizontal position). The cultures were treated with 20 uM artemisinin or a DMSO control for 24 hours, RNA was extracted, llibraries generated, sequenced and differential gene expression analyzed.
