This data set includes supplementary data for the publication "CS2 cycling in seawater: dark production and UV light driven consumption"by S. T. Lennartz, H. Simon, D. Booge, L. Zhou and C. Marandino, Geophysical Research Letter, 2024

It includes concentration measurements of carbon disulfide (CS2) and dissolved organic matter. Two sets of experiments have been performed: Degradation rate experiments include measurements of isotopically labelled CS2, which was incubated in artificial seawater with and without UV light (light and dark treatment). Production rate experiments were performed with MilliQ (blank), artificial seawater(control) and three natural extracts of dissolved organic matter, i.e. Pacfic surface, Pacific deep and North Sea porewater.
