Brazilian secondary education 2019

This dataset is derived from open access data provided by the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP) in Brazil. It contains information on secondary education in Brazil and includes data from the Brazilian National Exam of Brazilian Secondary Education (ENEM) and the Census Escolar for the year 2019. The dataset is organized at the student level and includes information about schools and teachers as well. In order to focus on a specific subset of the data, this dataset includes only variables related to secondary schools from the School Census and has applied a series of filters to the ENEM data to tailor the analysis specifically to students in their final year of secondary school from representative schools. Additionally, new variables related to faculty were derived from the School Census and finance information from FINBRA about municipalities to enhance the analysis.
