Emissions trends 1990-2015

In the report “Emission trends 1990-2015”, the Federal Environment Agency gives an overview of the anthropogenic, i.e. man-made, air pollutant emissions in Austria: — Dust — Total floating dust and particulate matter — Ozone precursor substances — Nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and volatile hydrocarbons without methane — acidifying and over-fertilising air pollutants — Sulfur dioxide, ammonia and nitrogen oxides — Heavy metals — Cadmium, mercury and lead — Persistent organic pollutants Trends and main pollutants are analysed and current emission data are compared to mandatory environmental targets. The data is based on the results of the Austrian Air Pollutant Inventory, which the Federal Environment Agency prepares annually.
