Transcriptomic characterization of the liver microenvironment in cynomolgus macaques treated with TLR8 agonist.

RNA-seq data from liver tissues of cynomolgus macaques treated with TLR8 agonist (0.1, 0.5 or 2.5 mg/kg). Overall design: Cynomolgus macaques (n = 3/sex/group) were dosed via oral gavage on day 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 with either vehicle [30% (w/v) polyethylene glycol 300 (PEG 300) and 70% (w/v) reverse osmosis water (pH adjusted to 3.0 ± 0.1)], or 0.1, 0.5 or 2.5 mg/kg/dose TLR8 agonist diluted in vehicle at a dose volume of 2 mL/kg. The animals were anesthetized with sodium pentobarbital and euthanized via exsanguination at approximately 4 h (± 30 min) following dosing on day 29. Liver tissue (=10 mg) was obtained from the left lateral lobe at terminal sacrifice and flash frozen in liquid nitrogen. Isolation of total cellular RNA and RNA-seq was conducted by Expression Analysis (Durham, NC).
