Repeated Traumatic Brain Injury in Civilian Emergency Care: An Exploration of Potential Risk Factors Supplementary Materials

Repeated traumatic brain injury (rTBI) is rarely studied in populations outside of sport and military contexts. We conducted a systematic review to evaluate the literature on rTBI presenting to civilian emergency departments. Of 5,336 studies found, four were included. Key findings were that risk of rTBI was elevated in those with pre-existing epilepsy/seizures or a history of substance abuse. This dataset includes the raw data extraction table and search strategy.重复性创伤性脑损伤（repeated traumatic brain injury，rTBI）在运动与军事场景之外的人群中鲜有研究。本研究针对就诊于平民急诊科的rTBI相关文献开展系统综述。在检索获得的5336篇文献中，最终纳入4篇。核心研究结果显示，既往存在癫痫或惊厥病史，或存在物质滥用史的人群，其发生rTBI的风险显著升高。本数据集包含原始数据提取表与检索策略。
