The impact of deforestation on future terrestrial ecosystem productivity

This study is based on CMIP6 models and selects the SSP1-2.6 and SSP126-SSP370Lu scenarios for the period 2015–2100 to systematically evaluate the impact of forest loss on extreme gross primary productivity (GPP) events. It focuses on analyzing how changes in forest cover influence climate variables and thereby drive variations in the frequency and intensity of extreme GPP events.
