Share of people who think the global economy will be stronger by country 2024

Half the world's population was optimistic that the global economy would be better in 2024 than in 2023. This was highest in emerging economies such as India, Indonesia, and China. On the other hand, in developed countries such as Japan, Portugal, France, and South Korea, only about one third of the respondents thought the global economy would be better in 2024 than in 2023.
