Mexican public librarians: three interviews and a survey results about its role within the library [Bibliotecarios públicos mexicanos: tres entrevistas y los resultados de una encuesta sobre su papel dentro de la biblioteca]

For the development of the Master's thesis entitled: "The empowerment of the librarian as an agent of social change: A Human Development approach". A questionnaire was conducted to 15 public librarians on the perception of their role in the library where they work. The results of this survey are added to this data set. Transcripts of three interviews of approximately 1:50 minutes on the perception of their role in the library are added too. In order to analyze their perceptions to determine their level of empowerment. Por el desarrollo de la tesis de maestría titulada: "El empoderamiento del bibliotecario como agente de cambio social: Un enfoque de Desarrollo Humano". Se realizó un cuestionario a 15 bibliotecarios públicos sobre la percepción de su papel en la biblioteca donde trabajan. Los resultados de esta encuesta se añaden a este conjunto de datos. También se añaden las transcripciones de tres entrevistas de aproximadamente 1:50 minutos sobre la percepción de su papel en la biblioteca. Con el fin de analizar sus percepciones para determinar su nivel de empoderamiento.本数据集服务于题为《图书馆员作为社会变革代理人的赋权（empowerment）：人类发展视角》的硕士学位论文研究。研究面向15名公共图书馆馆员开展问卷（questionnaire）调查，调研其对所在图书馆岗位的角色认知，该调研结果已纳入本数据集。此外，本数据集还包含三段时长约1分50秒的访谈转录本（interview transcripts），内容围绕馆员对自身在图书馆中的角色认知展开，所有数据均用于分析馆员的认知水平以判断其赋权程度。
