WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from VREELAND from 1991-08-14 to 1991-08-15 (NODC Accession 9100176)

The data in this accession was collected from ship VREELAND over two days in August 14-15, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Two stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.本次存档数据集采集自VREELAND号船舶，采集于1991年8月14日至15日，历时两天。美国海军通过条带式记录仪记录了变深式海水探温仪（XBT）获取的实时水温数据。两套条带记录图与无线电日志已提交至美国国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）。上述条带记录图中的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，现以C116文件格式存储于NODC当前数据存储系统中。
