Research data for article: Evaluation of 1+1 and 1:1 Optical Protection Architectures in Passive WDM Optical Xhaul Access Networks

Files include the data obtained during realization of project NCN OPUS 27 "Modeling and optimization of multi-service and multilayer Xhaul networks" ("Modelowanie i optymalizacja wielousługowych i wielowarstwowych sieci Xhaul").The study evaluates the costs of 1+1 and 1:1 protection architectures that use a dedicated path protection mechanism in a passive WDM-based Xhaul access network aggregating traffic from remote nodes in the optical layer. The data includes results from numerical experiments on the WRO-17 network topology. The WRO-17 topology data is also provided in the files.The protection architectures, evaluation assumptions, system parameters, traffic model, and the results analysis were presented in the article M.
