Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Natura 2000 Community Internetworking Sites (CIS) in Indre-et-Loire

Perimeters of the Community Internetwork Sites (CIS) belonging to the Natura 2000 European Network The Natura 2000 network comprises 2 types of regulatory areas: special Protection Areas (SPAs) and Special Conservation Areas (SACs). The Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) aim at the conservation of the habitat types and animal and plant species listed in Annexes I and II to the European Habitats Directive of 21/05/1992. In order to designate the SACs, each Member State shall submit its proposals to the European Commission in the form of a pSIC (proposal for a Community Interest Site). After approval by the Commission, the PSIC is listed as a Site of Community Interest (SIC) for the European Union and is integrated into the Natura 2000 network. A ministerial order then signs the site as a SAC. All attributes of the original DIREN data can be retained if necessary. These attributes are not necessarily the same from one DIREN to another.
