Response functions of Δ14C (relative radiocarbon concentration in near-ground air, in permil) for a reference extreme solar particle event (ESPE) for the Holocene pre-industrial conditions

Response functions of Δ14C (relative radiocarbon concentration in near-ground air, in permil) for a reference extreme solar particle event (ESPE) for the Holocene pre-industrial conditions, computed using the SOCO:14C-Ex model as described in Golubenko et al. (2026) Full Dynamical Model (SOCOL:14C-Ex) of 14C Atmospheric Production and Transport in Application to Miyake Events, Radiocarbon 2025 Proceedings. The response is tabulated for two mid-latitude locations in the Northern and Southern hemispheres (files D14C-daily-NH.txt and D14C-daily-SH.txt, respectively) for days 1—2264 after the modelled event date (columns), for the event taking place on day 1—365 of the year (rows). The first row in the files denotes the DoY of the event, while the first column denotes the day after the event.
