资源简介:

The December 2025 issue of IFLA Journal brings together a wide-ranging collection of scholarship that reflects the global scope and evolving priorities of the library and information field. The volume highlights critical contemporary themes, including trauma-informed librarianship, mental wellness, and the role of libraries as community anchors, alongside examinations of information rights, accessibility, and public policy. Articles explore the implementation of Ghana’s Right to Information Act, library services for persons with disabilities in India, and the information practices of young migrants in Europe. Several contributions address sustainability and digital resilience, illustrating how libraries are adapting to pressing environmental and technological challenges. Studies on library anxiety, big data analytics, and redesigned learning environments further demonstrate the profession’s dynamic response to user needs. Two scoping reviews conclude the issue and offer important insights for further research. One uses AI to help map developments in LGBTQ+ collections while the other examines cultural competence within LIS research.
