A draft genome for Candidatus Resina europa obtained from an enrichment culture of Loctite EA9394 adhesive in a tryptic soy broth. Genomic DNA was obtained from the enrichment culture and used for a hybrid Illumina and Oxford Nanopore genome sequence. A phylogenetic analysis was conducted that indicates this is a novel bacterial genus and species affiliated with the alpha-Proteobacteria.
