List of Regional Reference Centres for the Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetic Foot

The process of diagnosing and treating Diabetic Foot pathologies involves the definition of a multidisciplinary organisational model, in which prevention measures and a multifactorial approach are applied, with different professional figures who, in an integrated way, have the aim of improving the treatment of the pathology. The minimum requirements for the establishment of the regional network of centres for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Foot set out in the technical document ‘Organisational model for the establishment of the regional network of centres for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Foot’ drawn up by the ‘Diabetic Foot’ Technical Commission of the Endocrine Network – Lombard Diabetology, annexed to Regional Executive Decision No 6253/2022, lead to the identification of second and third-level reference centres for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Foot.
