MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF SAMPLES FROM WOLF SPIDER SHELTER, SITE 5LA6197, IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO

Samples from three features at Site 5LA6197 in southeast Colorado were examined for macrofloral remains. This site consists of an east-facing rock shelter immediately adjacent to Trinchera Creek. The shelter contains two distinct occupational episodes. Radiocarbon dates and diagnostic artifacts indicate Middle Archaic and Early Ceramic occupations, and the three features yielded uncalibrated radiocarbon dates of 1690 + 80 BP, 2630 + 70 BP, and 4900 + 90 BP. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide subsistence information.对科罗拉多州东南部5LA6197遗址（Site 5LA6197）的三处遗迹开展了大植物遗存（macrofloral remains）分析。该遗址为一处朝东的岩棚，紧邻特林切拉溪（Trinchera Creek）。岩棚内存在两个截然不同的人类居住活动阶段。放射性碳定年数据与诊断型器物表明，该遗址存在中古风期（Middle Archaic）与早期陶器期（Early Ceramic）的人类居住活动，且三处遗迹的未校正放射性碳定年结果分别为1690±80 BP、2630±70 BP及4900±90 BP。本次大植物遗存分析旨在获取该遗址的生业模式相关信息。
