Child's affiliation to the preferential category: an orphan or deprived of parental care; a child with a disability; a child whose parent died (lost) in the area of anti-terrorist operations, hostilities or armed conflicts or died as a result of injuries, concussions or injuries received in the area of anti-terrorist operations, hostilities or armed conflicts, as well as as a result of a disease received during the period of participation in the anti-terrorist operation; a child whose parent died during mass protests or died as a result of injuries, concussions or injuries received during mass protests; a child living in a village located on the contact line; a native child of foster parents or foster parents who live in the same family-type orphanage or in one foster family; a child registered by services for children's affairs as being in difficult life circumstances; a child who has suffered as a result of natural disasters, man-made accidents, disasters; a child who died from accidents at work or during the performance of official duties; a child from a low-income family who, in accordance with the law, receives state social assistance to low-income families; a child from a large family; a child of a person recognized as a participant of hostilities in accordance with paragraph 19 of Part 1 of Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection"; a child who is on a dispensary; a child belonging to children's creative teams and sports teams - winners of international, all-Ukrainian, regional competitions, competitions, festivals, competitions, sports events; talented and gifted child - winner of international, all-Ukrainian, regional city competitions, competitions, festivals, competitions, sports events; excellent training; leader of children's public organizations.
