资源简介:
This study was a meta-analysis of genome-wide association study (GWAS) of substance use across 1.2 million total participants with European ancestry (some phenotypes are based on fewer participants). The phenotypes were chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). For each of those phenotypes, collaborators shared their GWAS summary statistics, which were then meta-analyzed using a method that incorporates into the meta-analytic weighting the sample size, allele frequency and imputation quality score.]]>
This study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide associations study (GWAS) of substance use across 262,990 participants with European ancestry. The phenotypes are chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of regular smoking initiation and smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). Age of initiation is defined as age at which they start regular smoking. This study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide associations study (GWAS) of substance use across 263,954 participants with European ancestry. The phenotypes are chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of regular smoking initiation and smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). Cigarettes per Day is defined as binned cigarette smoked per day responses: 1 = 1-5, 2 = 6-15, 3 = 16-25, 4 = 26-35, 5 = 36+This study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide associations study (GWAS) of substance use across 537,349 participants with European ancestry. The phenotypes are chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of regular smoking initiation and smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). Drinks per week is collected only in drinkers and the measure is left-anchored at 1 and log-transformedThis study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide associations study (GWAS) of substance use across 312,821 participants with European ancestry. The phenotypes are chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of regular smoking initiation and smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). Smoking Cessation is a binary trait with 2 for current smokers and 1 for former smokers. This study is a meta-analysis of genome-wide associations study (GWAS) of substance use across 632,802 participants with European ancestry. The phenotypes are chosen to represent different stages and kinds of substance use from initiation (age of regular smoking initiation and smoking initiation) to regular use (cigarettes per day and drinks per week) to cessation (smoking cessation). Smoking Initiation is a binary trait with 2 for ever being a regular smokers and 1 for never being a regular smokers.
