VPRS 12549 General Correspondence Files, Multiple Number System III

This series comprised general correspondence files of VA 1039 Department of the Premier and Cabinet from 1994. File contents included letters received, internal memoranda and copies of letters sent. Ministerial correspondence was also included.The nature of the correspondence, and the scheme under which the files were classified, reflected the agency's administrative responsibility for a wide variety of functions. The correspondence was exchanged with other Victorian government departments, other States, the Commonwealth, other countries, private individuals and organisations.
