O pioneirismo na gramaticografia portuguesa de cunho italiano

In times when linguistics was not yet known as a science, everything that was produced to make a language known – foreign or not – had a character that we can define as "pioneering": didactic texts that were surprisingly up-to-date in their functional character or in the use of different methodologies. The present work aims to highlight the pioneering character of the first known metalinguistic and grammatical material about the Portuguese language.
