Evaluation of Invasive Breast Cancer Using a 12-Chemokine Gene Expression Score: Correlation With Clinical Outcomes

Clinically annotated GEPs of 366 primary resected breast tumors ranked by a 12 gene chemokine score Gene expression profiles on banked samples from prospectively consented breast cancer stage 1-3 patients who underwent primary surgery, treatment, and follow up at the Moffitt Cancer Center. Clinicopathologic and outcomes data (RFS,OS) were abstracted by chart review and registry data for each patient when available. Gene expression underwent normalization using the MAS5 method and the 12 gene signature was derived using the principal component method.
