Not collected municipal wastewater discharged and/or collected municipal wastewater discharged without any prior treatment. It is then considered secondary water. Municipal wastewater collected by not maintained independent collection systems, like soak pits or septic tanks, are considered as not treated municipal wastewater. Effluents from non-functional wastewater treatment plants are also included here.
