Salmon lice (<i>Lepeophtheirus salmonis</i>) abundance data recorded over a 30-year period on salmon farms in Ireland

This Figshare dataset contains the files used in a related Scientific Report paper, entitled 'Effects of temporal, geographical and environmental factors on salmon lice (<i>Lepeophtheirus salmonis</i>) levels of Atlantic salmon (<i>Salmo salar</i>) in Ireland', by Bela Klimesova, Olga Lyashevska, Neil M. Ruane, Jack D'Arcy, Anita Talbot, Hamish Rodger, and Katie O'Dwyer. The file contains two datasets: MeanDataset.csv and IndividualFishDataset.csv. These datasets contain sea lice count data from salmon farms in Ireland collected by the Marine Insitute as part of the National Sea Lice Monitoring Programme. These are two complementary datasets: a 30-year dataset (1993–2023) with sea lice abundance recorded at pen level, and an 18-year dataset (2006–2023) with records at individual fish level.
