Soil Physical and Chemical Properties

The study was conducted in two agriculturally important and ecologically distinct sites- Akole and Nandurbar of Maharashtra, India. Topsoil samples were collected and analyzed for a comprehensive range of physical and chemical properties from two regions: Akole covering approximately 20,000 hectares and encompassing six villages, and Nandurbar, which also spans about 20,000 hectares and includes eight villages. This dataset offers a detailed and spatially extensive snapshot of soil health across 40,000 hectares across two diverse agroecologies, offering insights into soil fertility, making it an asset for both agricultural management and regional planning.
