Vacant Properties Comparison

This map was created so that users could compare two different methods for identifying vacant properties within the City of Dallas. On method uses data from the Dallas County Appraisal District that identifies properties as Land Only. The other method uses data from all five appraisal districts such as land use classifications, improvement values, legal descriptions to identify vacant properties while removing any properties in floodways, levees or city parks. The layers Vacant Properties and Dallas Vacant Properties Land Only were used to create the map Vacant Properties Comparison that this appcliation uses.
