Replication Data for 1515: Retail chicken sold in Mexico City as a reservoir of Salmonella enterica of public health significance

This dataset is derived from a Salmonella survey of retail chicken conducted in supermarkets and poulterer shops from the 16 municipalities of Mexico City in 2023. Overall, we took 160 samples (10 from each municipality, half from supermarkets and half from poulterer shops, except for those municipalities lacking supermarkets or having less than five). The dataset contains the metadata, assembly quality attributes, and detailed results (per individual isolate) of in silico serotyping, antibiotic susceptibility testing, and antimicrobial resistance genotype prediction (both resistance genes and point mutations). The dataset also provides the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) accession numbers (columns B and C), for those readers who wish to reproduce the analyses described in the article "Retail chicken sold in Mexico City as a reservoir of Salmonella enterica of public health significance".
