This repository contains the data and python source codes for the article J. Niehoff, F. Voss and U.Thiele. Gradient dynamics model for chemically driven running drops, Eur. Phys. J. Spec. Top. (2026), doi:10.1140/epjs/s11734-026-02296-w. Structure Filename/Subdirectory Description Figure_X Contains data and python codes used for producing Figure X. Requirements.txt List of required python packages to run the codes. README.html Contains information about this repository. Requirements The required python packages including their versions are listed in Requirements.txt. We expect that later versions (and possibly some earlier ones, too) should also work. We use Python 3.8.10. Further, a LaTeX kernel is required. Usage To execute any of the provided python scripts, say `Figure3.py`, simply run python Figure3.py All scripts of the type `Figure_X.py` may simply be used as is to reproduce the figures in the article.
