MEC neural activity recorded with calcium imaging and Neuropixels probes in sensory minimized conditions (v1)

资源简介:
These data were collected to determine how pervasive ultraslow oscillations are in the medial entorhinal cortex (MEC), and whether, and how, they organize the activity of participating neurons in space and time. Activity was recorded from hundreds of cells at the same time from the MEC, parasubiculum (PaS) or visual cortex. We used either two-photon calcium imaging (MEC: 27 sessions over 5 animals; PaS: 25 sessions over 4 animals; visual cortex: 19 sessions over 3 animals) or Neuropixels 2.0 probes (MEC: 2 sessions over 2 animals). Mice were head-fixed and ran on a rotating wheel for 30 or 60 minutes, in darkness and with no scheduled rewards.
