Aggressionsnarrative, Ideologie und Friedensarbeit – Integrative Perspektiven Narratives of Aggression, Ideology, Peace Work – Perspectives from Integrative Therapy

Der Beitrag stellt die Grundlagen und Konzepte einer integrativen Aggressionstheorie dar, die sich mit ihren Positionen von der gestalttherapeutischen Ideologie „positiver Aggression“ abgrenzt. Nach Konsens moderner Psychologie und Biologie gibt es vielfältige spezifische Formen von Aggression und ist Aggression auf Destruktion gerichtet, eine für Verteidigung und Eroberung wichtige Kraft, die aber überflutend wirkt, die Vernunft „blind“ macht und nicht mit Mut, Beherztheit, Assertivität, Zivilcourage verwechselt werden darf, Qualitäten, die zu fördern sind, weil sie durch Vernunft und Besonnenheit kontrolliert werden, Agressionsregulation und Friedensarbeit ermöglichen.. This chapter is offering the base and concepts for an integrative theory of aggression which is drawing a clear dividing line between its positions and the ideology of “positive aggression” in Gestalt Therapy. It is consensus of modern psychology and biology that there is a manifold of specific forms of aggression and that aggression is directed towards destruction, a force which is important indeed for defense and conquest. But it is flooding reason, making it blind.
