Sox11 loss-of-function mutant cortex at E17.5

Expression profiling of cortex from embryonic day (E) 17.5 telencephalon of Sox11(+/+) and Sox11(-/-) mouse embryos. Sox11 is implicated in regulating proliferation, neuronal migration and differentiation. We used microarray to identify genes that were differentially expressed in the cortex in the wild type and Sox11 knockout embryos at E17.5. To uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying the function of Sox11 in cortical development, we conducted microarray analysis of E17.5 cortices from wild type and Sox11(-/-) mice. Total RNA was isolated from the cortex of one wild type embryo and one Sox11(-/-) littermate at E17.5. cRNA probe synthesis, hybridization, scanning, and data collection were performed following the manufacturer's instruction.
本数据集针对胚胎发育第17.5天(E17.5)端脑皮层的Sox11纯合野生型(Sox11(+/+))与纯合敲除型(Sox11(-/-))小鼠胚胎开展基因表达谱分析。Sox11参与调控细胞增殖、神经元迁移及神经元分化过程。本研究采用微阵列(microarray)技术,筛选胚胎发育第17.5天时野生型与Sox11敲除小鼠胚胎皮层内的差异表达基因。为阐明Sox11在小鼠皮层发育中的分子调控机制,我们对野生型及Sox11(-/-)小鼠的胚胎发育第17.5天皮层样本进行了微阵列分析。实验取材自胚胎发育第17.5天的1枚野生型小鼠胚胎与1枚同窝Sox11(-/-)小鼠胚胎的皮层组织,从中提取总RNA。cRNA探针合成、杂交、扫描及数据收集流程均严格遵循试剂盒制造商的操作指南完成。
