The peer-reviewed literature directly associated with conferences and the benefits of networking

A compiled, simple list of studies examining the research associated with conferences and networking. This research has significant breadth, and herein, only a two-term, single search list is provided. The Web of Science was queried using the terms 'conference*' in title and 'networking benefit*' in topic fields. A larger number of returns were excluded because they summarized findings from a specific conference and were not about the science of conferences. Additional searches were done to validate the extent that this list is representative of some of the research associated with conferences and networking.
