RNA adenosine methylation in soybean seedlings exposed to metals

The project is focused on the impact of metals (Cu, Cd and Pb) on the methylation of adenosine in RNA in soybean seedlings The planned tasks include: evaluation of 6mA and 1mA levels in total RNA evaluation of 6mA and 1mA levels in mRNA identification trancripts enriched in the modifications 1mA and 6mA localization in plant tissues evaluation of the impact of both modifications on the process of translation The study is carried out within the project: Epitranscriptomic landscape in soybean seedling exposed to metals, no. 2024/53/B/NZ9/03732, financed by National Science Centre, Poland.
