This study investigated transcriptomic changes in mouse cardiac tissues following doxorubicin and hesperitin treatments. Cardiac tissues were collected at 16 and 72 hours post-treatment, and RNA sequencing was performed to identify differentially expressed genes and pathways involved in drug response and cardioprotection. Overall design: Mouse cardiac tissues were collected at 16 and 72 hours following doxorubicin or hesperitin treatment. Total RNA was isolated from cardiac muscle using TRI Reagent and phenol/chloroform extraction, and RNA integrity was assessed with an Agilent Bioanalyzer (RIN > 8). RNA sequencing was conducted at the Genome Research Center, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, generating at least 20 million single-end reads per sample on the Illumina platform. The study design enables transcriptomic comparisons across treatment groups and time points to identify differentially expressed genes and pathways associated with doxorubicin and hesperitin responses.
