Spatial transcriptome of Cucurbita pepo seed coat at 10 and 15 days after pollination (DAP)

This dataset presents spatial transcriptome (spatial RNA-Seq) data from the seed coat of Cucurbita pepo collected at 10 and 15 days after pollination (DAP), corresponding to key stages in early seed development. The aim of this study was to investigate gene expression dynamics and spatial gene regulation during seed coat differentiation. Total RNA was extracted from seed coat tissue sections and libraries were prepared using a spatial transcriptomics workflow. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus platform. The data provide valuable insights into the spatial regulation of gene expression involved in seed coat development, and offer a rich resource for understanding developmental biology in cucurbit species.
